Youth Carpentry 101 (All Genders)

10:00 am

Event Location:

The Dapper Hammer

Yes, kids can build, too!! Whether your youth is completely new to tools, or has been unscrewing your kitchen cabinet handles for years (a favorite past time of young Darnell kiddos), this is the class for them!

Carpentry 101 is a safe, supportive environment for youth to explore new tools, learn new skills, and inspire themselves and others with their imagination. This class is a fun introduction to measuring, marking, cutting with the miter saw (a crowd favorite!), sanding, and hammer/screwdriver/power drill experience!

We will chat about shop safety, try our hand at a variety of tools, and work on an individual project, which each youth will take home with them at the end of class (and hopefully enjoy all summer long)!
