Intro to Framing Walls – August (Women & LGBTQIA+)
August 9, 2022
The Dapper Hammer
Thinking of building a wall in your basement? Curious how walls are built? Or just want an excuse to play with a nail gun? Come join us!
This class is a safe, supportive environment for you to be fully you as you explore new tools, learn new skills, and inspire yourself and others with your imagination.
We will chat about shop safety, learn the basics behind wall framing construction, try our hand at a few tools, and work in groups to frame out a couple small walls. These walls will then be used for the Drywall Basics class later in the week. Come back and join us for that class to see your walls come to life as they are covered in drywall!
