All About Drills – March (Women & LGBTQIA+)

Event Date:

March 20, 2023

Event Time:

6:00 pm

Event Location:

The Dapper Hammer

One of the questions I receive the most is how to use a drill properly and effectively. Drills can be intimidating to the best of us! The best way to get comfortable with your drill is to learn and practice with it. This class will cover the basics about drills and give you an opportunity to gain comfort and confidence with your own drill.

If you have a drill at home, please bring it (and any batteries/bits/drivers) to class and we’ll explore it together! Please note: if you do not have access to a drill, we have several available for you to use in the shop.

Topic: All About Drills

-When to use screws vs nails
-Choosing the size & type of screws to use
-Drill Bits & Drivers: What are they and how to change them
-Clamps, clamps, clamps
-Dell’s miscellaneous & helpful tips
